Tales of Different Tails - Friends

Sudha G. Tilak only takes up jobs that allow her to tell stories – tall and truthful. She has worked for over 20 years as a journalist with Indian and international publications out of Chennai, Kolkata, the UK and Delhi. Currently she works with a travel publication and lives in Gurgaon with her husband, son and imaginary pets, Posto the ginger cat and Idli the Labrador. This is her first book for children.

Frané Lessac is an artist, author and illustrator, having created more than forty children's books. She was born in the USA and lived in the Caribbean Island of Montserrat and the United Kingdom before moving to Australia. She attended film school in California before turning her efforts to painting and publishing. In 2010, Frané was awarded the Muriel Barwell Award for Distinguished Service to Children's Literature. She was the inaugural Regional Advisor Society of Children's Book writers and Illustrators for Australia West and joined the National Year of Reading 2012 initiative as a State Ambassador. The many countries she visits continue to provide a major influence for Frané's artwork and books.
