Paro Anand writes the story of a young Indian boy, Ganga, and Swedish writer Orjan Presson writes of a young Swedish girl, Helga, both of whom visit Goa. It is a first visit for both these teens and altough they are strangers, their destinies become tied with one another in a strange and magical way.
Paro Anand has written several acclaimed fiction titles including Wingless: A Fairly Weird Fairy Tale, I’m Not Butter Chicken, and No Guns at my Son’s Funeral, which was on the IBBY honour list 2004-05. She conducts creative writing, reading and discussion workshops with teachers and children, through her program, Literature in Action. She holds a world-record for helping children make the world’s longest newspaper.
Garima Gupta is an artist and researcher. She lives in New Delhi and likes all things wild, especially birds.
